Chalino pillar of the Mexican regional
Rosalino Sánchez Félix, known as Chalino Sánchez, or the king of corrido, was a Mexican singer and songwriter. He specialized in the regional Mexican music genre.One day, working, Chalino was introduced to a man by the name of Angel Parra, who became interested in his musical talent after a small performance. Ángel Parra organized a meeting in his studio called, "Estudios de Angel", and began recording his first "demo" on cassette with a norteño group called, Los Cuatro de la Frontera. In 1989, Chalino was recognized throughout California and requests piled up for him to sing in various places, in his performances he was paid in different ways, including cash, clothing, vehicles and weapons. His musical legacy is a great wonder for today's listeners, he was a pillar in regional music as well as in the discovery of new talents, he stood out with many of his successes, but he catapulted to fame with the musical theme NIEVES DE ENERO, He was an artist in every aspect, from composing his songs to keeping track of his melodies, just as he was an artist, who always supported the local talent of his hometown. Like the story of many artists whose musical life begins in the U.S.A., Chalino Sanchez's is no exception. Making its way into the most important music festivals, sharing the stage with artists of a different genre (Ice Cube, Dr Dree) making regional Mexican music known in different parts of other countries

Since I was little I really liked to listen to what regional Mexican music is and since I can remember I recognize that I listened to some songs by Chalino Sánchez, but I never managed to identify it well until now. Thanks to this information, I was able to know a little more about his musical career. Despite having belonged to a low-income family, Chalino managed to get ahead. The most curious thing is that Sánchez began to compose songs for all those who had interesting stories, with which little by little he added several corridos, to later, be famous in the northern cities of Mexico, in short. On the other hand, I would like to add that this blog could use a little more about the personal life and the beginnings of the musical career of this great artist who will always live in the minds and hearts of many lovers of the Mexican regional.
